The Grand Blanc Fire Department is accepting bottled water donations for the residents of the City of Flint. Water may be dropped off at the station located at 117 High Street between 8 AM and 9 PM daily. If firefighters are out on a call, water may be left in the station lobby. Monetary donations will be accepted also. Please give these directly to a firefighter on duty. Read the MLive article here.

Recent water issues in the City of Flint have generated calls to our office regarding the City of Grand Blanc's water source. The City of Grand Blanc has its own groundwater wells and treatment plants. Our water is tested daily to ensure its safety and is filtered in a reverse-osmosis system before being sent to homes and businesses. Residents of the City of Grand Blanc can be assured that their water does not come from the Flint River or the City of Flint water system. Yearly water reports are posted here on the website. The latest assessment can be found HERE.

Residents who would like to STOP the weekly driveway delivery of the Flint Journal's free publication may register their address for non-delivery by calling (810) 766-6280.
